Tuno Audio Video Noise Reducer - Terms of Use

These are the terms you agree to when you install and use Tuno Noise Reducer. We have tried to write them in normal language rather than the usual wall of capital letters. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

What Tuno Noise Reducer is

Tuno Noise Reducer removes background noise from audio and video — from files you already have, and from recordings you make inside the app. All of the processing happens on your device.

It is a tool, and like any tool the result depends on what you give it. A recording made in a wind tunnel will not come back sounding like a studio. The engines in Tuno Noise Reducer are tuned for speech, so they do best on voice memos, interviews, lectures and similar material, and they may do less well on music or heavy ambience. We cannot promise any particular level of quality, and you should judge the result with your own ears before you rely on it.

Using the app

You may install and use Tuno Noise Reducer on devices you own or control, for as long as these terms hold. You may use the app for personal or commercial work, and anything you produce with it is yours to use however you like — we take no cut and claim no rights in your output.

What you may not do is resell or redistribute the app itself, strip out or hide the notices inside it, or use it to do something illegal. Taking the app apart to see how it works is allowed where the law says it is allowed, and to the extent that the licences of Tuno Noise Reducer’s open-source components permit it — those components are listed in COPYRIGHT.

Your recordings are yours

We claim nothing over the files you process. We could not claim them even if we wanted to, since they never leave your device and we never receive them.

The flip side is that what you record is your responsibility. Before you record a conversation, a meeting, a lecture or a call, make sure you actually have the right to. Many countries require the consent of the people being recorded, and the rules differ from place to place. Tuno Noise Reducer cleans up audio; it does not check whether you were allowed to capture it, and that part is on you.

The free version and ads

The free version of Tuno Noise Reducer is paid for by advertising, served through Google AdMob. You will see a banner on the home and processing screens, and an interstitial when you save a cleaned file. Using the free version means accepting that those ads appear.

The ads themselves come from Google and its advertising partners. We do not choose them, we do not review them, and we are not responsible for what they say or where they lead. If an ad looks broken or inappropriate, tell us at odyraai@gmail.com and we will pass it on.

Tuno Noise Reducer Pro

Tuno Noise Reducer Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, sold through Google Play. In this version it does one thing: it removes all advertising. Everything else in the app — every engine, every export format, every advanced option — is available for free, and there is no cap on how many files you clean or how long they are.

The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown to you inside the app before you buy, exactly as Google Play reports them for your country. We never make those numbers up ourselves.

Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription then renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and the renewal charge is taken within 24 hours of the period ending.

You can cancel at any time from Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut off the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro until that period runs out. If you subscribe during a free trial and then cancel, any unused part of the trial is forfeited — that is how Google Play works, not something we control.

Refunds are also Google's to give, under Google Play's refund policy. We cannot issue one directly, so please go through Google Play first. If Google refunds or reverses a purchase, Pro access ends with it.

Tuno Noise Reducer checks your subscription against the receipt Google Play gives your device, and it re-checks every time the app starts. If Google Play stops reporting the subscription as active — because it lapsed, was cancelled, or was refunded — the Pro features stop with it.

We sometimes run limited-time offers. They are exactly that: limited, withdrawable, and not combinable with each other unless we say so.

What your device needs

Tuno Noise Reducer needs Android 9 or newer and a 64-bit processor. It will not install on 32-bit devices, and that is intentional rather than a bug.

Cleaning a long recording is real work for the phone. It uses the CPU heavily, it will warm the device and drain the battery faster than usual, and it needs free storage space for the working files. If you are about to process an hour-long interview, plug in.

Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update Tuno Noise Reducer, change how features work, or retire a feature entirely. We may also update these terms — if we do, we will post the new version here with a new date, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept it.

No warranty

Tuno Noise Reducer is provided as it is, without any warranty. We do not guarantee that it will be free of errors, that every file will process successfully, or that the result will be what you hoped for.

Please keep your originals. Tuno Noise Reducer writes cleaned files alongside your originals rather than over them, and it versions filenames instead of overwriting, but no software is perfect and no backup strategy should depend on ours. We are not responsible for media that is lost, damaged or overwritten.

Where our liability ends

As far as the law allows, Odyra AI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost recordings or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded at all, it is limited to whatever you have actually paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

None of this takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your own country. Where those laws give you something we have tried to disclaim here, those laws win.

Ending things

You can stop using Tuno Noise Reducer whenever you like by uninstalling it. We may withdraw access if you seriously break these terms.

Open-source components

Tuno Noise Reducer is built partly on open-source software, and those components come with their own licences that sit alongside these terms. They are listed in COPYRIGHT and inside the app under Settings → Open-source licenses.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere with mandatory consumer protections, those still apply to you regardless.
