The problem

Listening and reading are easy to self-mark. Writing and speaking are not, and they are where most candidates lose their band.

The usual options are paying a tutor per essay, or practising into a void and hoping. Neither gives you the fast feedback loop that actually moves a score.

What it does

Built around four things.

All four sections in test format

Timed, structured, and scored the way the real thing is, so test day is not the first time you feel the clock.

Speaking answers scored on delivery

Fluency, pace, hesitation, and pronunciation, assessed from your recorded answer rather than left to your own judgement.

Writing feedback against the band descriptors

Task response, coherence, lexical range, and grammatical accuracy called out separately — the four things examiners actually mark.

A band estimate you can track

See the trend across attempts instead of a single number with no context.

How it works

Where the processing happens.

Speaking recordings and written answers are assessed on your device and stored locally. Neither is uploaded.

  1. 01

Speaking is scored on the device

Your recorded answers are analysed locally. The audio is not uploaded.

  2. 02

Writing feedback runs in the app

Essays are assessed on device against the band criteria, so your writing is not sent to a third-party service.

  3. 03

    Your attempts stay yours

History is stored locally. There is no account and no cloud sync, so there is no profile of your weak points sitting on a server.

Screens

  • Writing task 2 feedback highlighting a grammar error in the essay with an explanation and suggested correction.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this affiliated with the official IELTS test?

No. IELTS is a registered trademark of its owners and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to them. This is independent practice material.

Can it predict my real band score?

It gives an estimate based on the published band descriptors. Treat it as a practice signal to track over time, not a prediction — only a real examiner assigns a real band.

Do my essays or recordings get uploaded?

No. Both are assessed on your device and stay there.

Does it work offline?

Yes, for practice and scoring. New question sets require a connection to download.

Is it Academic or General Training?

Both. You choose which at the start, and the reading and writing tasks change accordingly.

Is there a subscription?

Pricing is not settled yet. Whatever it ends up being will be stated plainly on this page before launch.
