These terms are between you and Odyra AI, and they cover the Blurish app. Using the app means you accept them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as well; where the two differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

What the app does, and what it does not promise

Blurish finds faces, and number plates when you ask it to, in your videos and photos, and covers them with the effect you choose. Finding is automatic and it is good, but it is not perfect: a face that is very small, turned away, in motion blur or partly hidden can be missed for some frames, or found where there is none.

So the last check is yours. Play the video through, or look at the photo, before you share it. We do not promise that every face in a file will be covered, and we are not responsible for a face that was missed in something you published.

Blur is a look, not protection: a blurred face can sometimes be partly recovered, which is why the app labels it “look only”. Where privacy matters, use a mosaic, a solid colour, an emoji or a sticker, which throw the face away.

Your videos and your responsibility

Use Blurish only on videos and photos you have the right to use. You are responsible for what you make with it and where you share it, and for following the laws on filming and publishing people where you are.

Do not use the app to harass or deceive anyone, to make material that sexualises anyone under eighteen, or for anything that would be illegal where you are.

The free plan and Premium

The free plan blurs faces in videos up to 20 seconds long, exported at 720p with a small Blurish mark, and exports up to three photos a day. These limits may change; the app always shows the current ones before you import or export.

Premium adds every effect, full-length videos, up to 4K, no watermark, stickers and sticker kits, templates and batch photos. It is sold through the App Store as an auto-renewing weekly or yearly subscription.

  • Free trial: The yearly plan may start with a free trial for Apple Accounts that have not had one. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid yearly subscription and your Apple Account is charged then.
  • Renewal: A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn that off at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours of the period ending.
  • Cancelling: Cancel any time in Settings on your device, under your Apple Account, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the period you have paid for ends.
  • Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are Apple's to give. If Apple refunds you, Premium ends when Apple says so.
  • Family Sharing: Where the yearly plan has Family Sharing turned on, the people in your family group can use Premium too.

Prices are shown in the app in your own currency before you buy. If a price changes, Apple tells you and asks you to agree before charging the new one.

Who owns what

  • Your videos and photos: Yours. We claim nothing in what you import or export, and we never receive it.
  • The app: Ours. The app, its name, its icon and its artwork stay ours, and nothing here gives you a licence to copy them.
  • Other people's work: The sticker kits use Microsoft's Fluent Emoji and the display typeface is Bricolage Grotesque, each under its own licence. The licences are in the app under Settings, Licences.

Things that go wrong

Your projects live only on your iPhone. If you delete the app, or a project, it is gone, and we have no copy to give back.

The app is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will find every face, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer law of your own country that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes and endings

We may change these terms. If a change matters — to the price, to what you get, to what you may do — we will say so in the app before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will move. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.

You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. If we discontinue Blurish, we will not take a payment for a period we do not intend to serve.
